Death in Paradise
Caribbean colour and a calypso theme, for a murder series that has never once let its setting look threatening.
Death in Paradise opens with a main title sequence of 30 seconds.
At 30 seconds, it opens well under the 47-second median for crime sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on BBC One in 2011, when A Question of Sport, Postman Pat and Crimewatch were also on the network.
