Sherlock
London shot as data — maps, magnification and chemical traces, cut to a violin figure that never quite settles.
Sherlock opens with a main title sequence of 33 seconds.
At 33 seconds, it opens well under the 47-second median for crime sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on BBC One in 2010, when A Question of Sport, Last of the Summer Wine and Postman Pat were also on the network.
