Garth Marenghi's Darkplace
A title sequence pretending to be a lost 1980s horror series, complete with the production faults the conceit requires.
Garth Marenghi's Darkplace opens with a main title sequence of 67 seconds.
At 67 seconds, it opens well above the 38-second median for comedy sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on Channel 4 in 2004, when Time Team, Peep Show and Wife Swap were also on the network.
