Godless
The frontier shot as landscape photography and left to sit — no montage, no faces, just weather crossing New Mexico for over a minute.
Godless opens with a main title sequence of 70 seconds.
At 70 seconds, it opens well above the 50-second median for drama sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on Netflix in 2017, when Mystery Science Theater 3000, Arrested Development and Top Boy were also on the network.
