Mindhunter
Reel-to-reel tape, evidence photographs and audio equipment intercut so tightly that the interview and the crime become one process. Clinical, and much nastier for it.
Mindhunter opens with a main title sequence of 105 seconds.
At 105 seconds, it opens well above the 47-second median for crime sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on Netflix in 2017, when Mystery Science Theater 3000, Arrested Development and Top Boy were also on the network.
