Mom
A newly sober mother and her newly sober mother, in a Chuck Lorre sitcom that got steadily less comfortable on purpose.
Mom kept one opening title sequence, 20 seconds long, across season 8.
At 20 seconds, it opens well under the 38-second median for comedy sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on CBS in 2013, when Candid Camera, Murphy Brown and Late Show with David Letterman were also on the network.
