Monster
Restrained to the point of austerity — portraits, European streets and a single held tone, for a series about a doctor who saved the wrong life.
Monster opens with a main title sequence of 86 seconds.
At 86 seconds, it opens well above the 58-second median for animation sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on Nippon TV in 2004, when Hajime no Ippo and Inuyasha were also on the network.
