My Brilliant Friend
Naples in the fifties rendered in faded photography, for an adaptation that spans fifty years of two lives.
My Brilliant Friend kept one opening title sequence, 80 seconds long, across season 2.
At 80 seconds, it opens well above the 50-second median for drama sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on HBO in 2018, when Curb Your Enthusiasm, In Treatment and The Jinx were also on the network.
