Naruto
Nine openings across five years, each announcing a new arc — and the first is the one an entire generation can still hum.
Naruto opens with a main title sequence of 101 seconds.
At 101 seconds, it opens well above the 58-second median for animation sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on TV Tokyo in 2002, when Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters and Tokyo Mew Mew were also on the network.
