Over the Garden Wall
Nineteenth-century American illustration and a wax-cylinder recording, for a miniseries that spends ten episodes pretending to be much older than it is.
Over the Garden Wall opens with a main title sequence of 82 seconds.
At 82 seconds, it opens well above the 58-second median for animation sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on Cartoon Network in 2014, when Samurai Jack, Totally Spies! and Star Wars: The Clone Wars were also on the network.
