Peppa Pig
A preschool series drawn in flat two dimensions and sold to a hundred and eighty countries, which is more than almost anything else British television has made.
Peppa Pig opens with a main title sequence of 15 seconds.
At 15 seconds, it opens well under the 58-second median for animation sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on Channel 5 in 2004, when Family Affairs was also on the network.
