Perry Mason
Depression-era Los Angeles rendered in ink and light leaks, over in twenty-one seconds — a deliberately curt opening for a show about a very slow investigation.
Perry Mason opens with a main title sequence of 21 seconds.
At 21 seconds, it opens well under the 47-second median for crime sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on HBO in 2020, when Curb Your Enthusiasm, In Treatment and The Jinx were also on the network.
