Pie in the Sky
A detective who would rather run his restaurant, and is not allowed to retire from either.
Pie in the Sky opens with a main title sequence of 25 seconds.
At 25 seconds, it opens well under the 47-second median for crime sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on BBC One in 1994, when A Question of Sport, Grandstand and This Is Your Life were also on the network.
