Reign
Mary, Queen of Scots at the French court, with a deliberately anachronistic soundtrack.
Reign kept one opening title sequence, 31 seconds long, across season 2.
At 31 seconds, it opens well under the 50-second median for drama sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on The CW in 2013, when America's Next Top Model, Supernatural and Veronica Mars were also on the network.
