A weight-loss competition whose titles were rebuilt around whichever pairing the season had chosen.

The Biggest Loser kept one opening title sequence, 59 seconds long, across season 5.

At 59 seconds, it opens well above the 37-second median for documentary sequences in this catalogue.

It arrived on NBC in 2004, when Mad About You, Will & Grace and Late Night with Conan O'Brien were also on the network.
