The Exorcist
A sequel to the film rather than a remake, which it does not admit until the end of the first season.
The Exorcist opens with a main title sequence of 31 seconds.
At 31 seconds, it opens well under the 50-second median for horror sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on Fox in 2016, when The X-Files, MADtv and So You Think You Can Dance were also on the network.
