The Love Boat
A cruise ship with a new guest cast every week, introduced by name in the titles.
The Love Boat kept one opening title sequence, 96 seconds long, across season 3.
At 96 seconds, it opens well above the 38-second median for comedy sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on ABC in 1977, when One Life to Live, All My Children and The Bugs Bunny Show were also on the network.
