Atlantis
The BBC's Saturday teatime myth series after Merlin, with the same job to do and the same slot to do it in.
Atlantis opens with a main title sequence of 32 seconds.
At 32 seconds, it opens well under the 58-second median for sci-fi sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on BBC One in 2013, when A Question of Sport, Postman Pat and Crimewatch were also on the network.
