Black Bird
Prison corridors and Midwestern fields intercut, so the confinement and the killing ground read as one landscape.
Black Bird opens with a main title sequence of 77 seconds.
At 77 seconds, it opens well above the 47-second median for crime sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on Apple TV+ in 2022, when Mythic Quest, Servant and Truth Be Told were also on the network.
