Endeavour
The Morse prequel, which quotes Pheloung's Morse-code motif in its own theme without repeating it.
Endeavour opens with a main title sequence of 6 seconds.
At 6 seconds, it opens well under the 47-second median for crime sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on ITV in 2012, when Thomas & Friends, Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends and Birds of a Feather were also on the network.
