Foyle's War
Wartime Hastings, and a detective series that treats the home front as the crime scene.
One opening sequence is catalogued for Foyle's War, covering season 1.
It arrived on ITV in 2002, when Thomas & Friends, Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends and Birds of a Feather were also on the network.
The opening titles
Season 1
No usable clip kept. The best result is a distributor's promo reel with an Acorn Media watermark rather than the titles. Searching the lead actor and the setting rather than the title returns the right programme, but what it returns is episode footage: 84 seconds with no name card anywhere in it.

1 sequenceDexter
Breakfast filmed as though it were a murder. A mosquito swatted, a blood orange crushed, a shaving nick, a steak sliced, floss drawn tight — every shot of an ordinary morning framed exactly as the violence the show never puts on screen this early.

The same song recorded five different ways. Every season re-cuts the images and hands 'Way Down in the Hole' to a new artist, matching the institution that season is about.
