Open All Hours
Ronnie Barker again, this time behind a corner-shop till with a faulty cash register.
Open All Hours opens with a main title sequence of 60 seconds.
At 60 seconds, it opens well above the 38-second median for comedy sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on BBC One in 1976, when A Question of Sport, Grandstand and This Is Your Life were also on the network.
