SCTV
A sketch show shaped as a fictional television station, which let it parody the whole schedule rather than one programme at a time.
SCTV opens with a main title sequence of 48 seconds.
At 48 seconds, it opens well above the 38-second median for comedy sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on Global in 1976, when Truth or Consequences, Another World and Search for Tomorrow were also on the network.
