Sugar
Classic Hollywood noir imagery cut against modern Los Angeles — a detective series that keeps quoting the films it is standing inside.
Sugar opens with a main title sequence of 61 seconds.
At 61 seconds, it opens well above the 47-second median for crime sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on Apple TV+ in 2024, when Mythic Quest, Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock and Bad Monkey were also on the network.
