The Drew Carey Show
A Cleveland department-store personnel manager, opened for two seasons by a cartoon of his own face.
The Drew Carey Show kept one opening title sequence, 19 seconds long, across seasons 1–2.
At 19 seconds, it opens well under the 38-second median for comedy sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on ABC in 1995, when One Life to Live, All My Children and The Bugs Bunny Show were also on the network.
