The Dukes of Hazzard
A Georgia county run by the man who owns it, and a car that spends a good part of every hour off the ground.
The Dukes of Hazzard opens with a main title sequence of 60 seconds.
At 60 seconds, it opens well above the 38-second median for comedy sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on CBS in 1979, when Candid Camera, Guiding Light and As the World Turns were also on the network.
