The Nanny
Cartoon animation narrating how a woman from Flushing ended up in a Manhattan townhouse — a premise delivered entirely in the titles.
The Nanny opens with a main title sequence of 65 seconds.
At 65 seconds, it opens well above the 38-second median for comedy sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on CBS in 1993, when Candid Camera, Guiding Light and As the World Turns were also on the network.
