Las Vegas
Casino surveillance as an ensemble drama, opening on the Strip at the hour it looks best.
Las Vegas opens with a main title sequence of 36 seconds.
At 36 seconds, it opens well under the 50-second median for drama sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on NBC in 2003, when Columbo, Mad About You and Will & Grace were also on the network.

Gilmore Girls
Carole King's 'Where You Lead' rewritten as a mother-and-daughter duet, over a small Connecticut town in every season at once.
