Spooks
Fast-cut surveillance imagery and a clock, from a series that made a habit of killing its leads without warning.
Spooks opens with a main title sequence of 32 seconds.
At 32 seconds, it opens well under the 50-second median for drama sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on BBC One in 2002, when A Question of Sport, Grandstand and This Is Your Life were also on the network.
