The Good Wife
Chicago legal iconography in thirty-nine seconds, from the network drama most often argued to be the best of its era.
The Good Wife kept one opening title sequence, 39 seconds long, across seasons 1–2.
At 39 seconds, it opens well under the 50-second median for drama sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on CBS in 2009, when Candid Camera, Guiding Light and As the World Turns were also on the network.
