The Tudors
Henry VIII played young and handsome for four seasons, opened by a montage of everything the reign would cost.
The Tudors opens with a main title sequence of 83 seconds.
At 83 seconds, it opens well above the 50-second median for drama sequences in this catalogue.
It arrived on Showtime in 2007, when Twin Peaks, Stargate SG-1 and Californication were also on the network.

Carole King's 'Where You Lead' rewritten as a mother-and-daughter duet, over a small Connecticut town in every season at once.
