Star Trek: Picard
2020–2023Paramount+Sci-Fi
An opening about memory rather than exploration. Fragments of a life — a vineyard, a Borg cube, a face — resolve out of swirling particles, and only at the very end does it admit it is a Star Trek show.
Seasons 1–2
97sJeff Russo's slow, mournful theme over images that assemble themselves from drifting dust — the Chateau Picard vines, a Borg cube, the pips of a uniform he no longer wears.
Season 3
120sRebuilt for the final season and moved to the back of the episode as a main-on-end sequence. Stephen Barton rescores the theme around Goldsmith's Next Generation fanfare while the ships and faces of the old crew replace the drifting particles.
